Chatting With Alice
The best book on programming for the layman is "Alice in
Wonderland"; but that's because it's the best book on anything for the
layman.

"The name of the song is called 'Haddocks' Eyes"
"Oh, that's the name of the song, is it?" Alice said
"No, you don't understand" the King said
"That's what the name is called. The name really is 'The Aged Aged Man'"

"Mine is a long and sad tale!" said the Mouse, turning to Alice, and
sighing.
"It is a long tail certainly" said Alice, looking down with wonder at the
Mouse's tail,
"But why do you call it sad?"

"There's a glory for you!"
"I don't know what you mean by 'glory'," Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously.
"Of course you don't -till I tell you. I meant there's a nice knock-down
argument for you!"
"But 'glory' doesn't mean a nice argument'" Alice objected.
"When I use a word" Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone,
"It means just what I choose it ot mean -neither more nor less."
"The question is" said Alice,
"Whether you can make words mean so many different things"

"Take some more tea." the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
"I've had nothing yet," Alice replied in an offended tone,
"So I can't take more"
"You mean you can't take less" said the Hare :
"It's very easy to take more then nothing."
